ShahpurJat Market – The village market in Delhi
ShahpurJat Market is a very interesting shopping market in Delhi. It retains its original village, look and feel . It is hence known as ShahpurJat village at times . There are uneven pathways and narrow winding lanes, which are just right for a cycle or a scooter to pass through but they are not equipped to handle 4 wheelers . Firstly, there are small houses on either side of the narrow lanes ,where you can literally peep into the homes and have a glimpse of domestic life . Some homes still have a couple of cows in the backyard. It is a semi rural atmosphere .
